How is that game? In general I've never really liked the Wild Arms games, I hunted down 1 never to play it, and returned 3 a few days after I got it. Of course I'm a consumer whore and looking for a new RPG to play... so will I be able to at least tolerate 4? Or should I avoid it if I didn't like the other editions?

Alter Code F is a remake of the first one. Overall, it's a really good game.

If you play the first one at some point, and end up enjoying it, I recommend this version also. It's the first installment, but fully 3d, with extra scenes/stages. Old stages completely redone, with new/remixed themes. Also, it goes more into the character backgrounds, fleshing out the story quite a bit more.

So yeah, awesome remake.
